Our first two applications in the store

This surely is a milestone for us. This morning our first two applications appeared in the AppStore. I'm sure those who download Busy Bee and Top Gun will enjoy playing them as much as we enjoyed creating them.

Top Gun is an arcade game in which you have to dodge other aircrafts. This game can be pretty hard because you need to watch four things at once and it needs you to think ahead and try to calculate their movement. It's perfect to test your skills and those who are good in it probably would be great fighter pilots.

Busy Bee is a kids' game in which you have to collect flowers in the order they are shown to you. Our idea was to create a game that's amusing for small children but it turned out to be some fun for adults too.

Here we go

I remember that we were coding all night in Turbo Pascal on our 386 PCs. We tried to create some memory resident program that displays a clock in the top right corner of the screen. It was around 2am when we finished it and it was a great moment of joy for us. Not a big thing you might think, but we were 12 years old then and we had no access to the Internet at home.

After going to bed we had dreamt about all the great software that we could create. But we couldn't possibly imagine what we are doing now. We are creating software for a device, that's more powerful than our first computers. We are creating software for a device that talks to satellites in space and can communicate with an other device on the other half of the globe. Only if we had the chance to go back in time and tell this to ourselves...
